This just isn't going to work. I started a blog for myself thinking this would be my "kid stories" blog and the other would be more for my thoughts and musings, but I realize, I don't have many of those that don't include my kids. So, check out my blog for further updates, and maybe someday William will officially take over this site.

MN friends, Jeff, Kristen and Abby visited for his brothers wedding near here.

We went with some friends to the "Outter Banks" aka Nags Head, North Carolina. We had a blast playing at the ocean and relaxing. William wasn't so sure about the ocean and all it's waves but he did enjoy playing in the sand. Callie loved the water and the waves. She also enjoyed the sand.

Larry and Marybeth visited this past week.

We went to Fort McHenry for the 4th.

They could have sat here all day watching the boats.

Then to Medieval Times for dinner. I was mentally prepared to go out of the arena with one or both children if need be, but they both LOVED it! They cheered and clapped and yelled/screamed like I've never seen them before!

William got very intense during some of the events.

I keep not updating because I feel like I have to "catch up". Later I'll add some recent pictures but for now, this.

Callie's new favorite phrase is, " Don't like this" to whatever she doesn't want to do.

This morning I said to her, "you're adorable" and she said, "No, I'm Dora."

Now they are upstairs playing in the sink....excuse me, washing their hands. William told me, "You can go back downstairs so you can leave us alone." So, I did. They can't hurt much, just get a little wet.
